Driver Volunteer
Department for Child Protection - HindmarshAbout this Opportunity:
Become a volunteer with the Department for Child Protection. As a volunteer you will be supporting and assisting children. Tasks may include but not limited to:
- Transporting children or Young People
- Individual or group support- assisting in activities such as craft, music or outdoor events
- Skill development such as sharing a particular skill, how to shop for food or clothing
- Working with young people to obtain their probationary license
We are always interested in hearing ideas for new ways our volunteers can assist. Volunteering is a two-way process.

As a Volunteer you will be provided with:
Orientation, Training and ongoing support Reimbursement for Mileage to and from DCP office (Government vehicles are used for Volunteer tasks and as a Volunteer you are covered by the Governments Volunteer's Insurance cover).
As a volunteer we ask you to be reliable and flexible. To be available for a reasonable amount of time, this may be weekly or fortnightly, weekdays & or weekends. We appreciate any time you are able to give and will work around your availability.

Working With Children Checks are required and you Volunteer Coordinator will assist you with this. The WWCC will be no cost to you. South Australian Drivers License is required
