Driving clients for Baptcare will involve collecting elderly residents from their home and either taking on an outing or dropping off at one of our day centers.

It is such a huge relief to clients knowing someone they can trust will collect them and take them safely to their next destination.

As the driver you are able to develop friendships with those you are collecting and provide companionship to them as you travel together. You will be joining a team of drivers and have opportunities to connect and share experiences with your peers.

The role you undertake has significant impact for our residents who are deeply grateful and appreciative of the time and service you give. Baptcare honours the work of Volunteers through its Reward and Recognition Program.

Respite care gives family and carers a short break from looking after an elderly family member. It’s a chance for carers to take time out to recharge and look after their own health and wellbeing.

Our day centres are friendly and comfortable, with care delivered by qualified and experienced carers.

At present we need someone who can Volunteer on either Tuesday or Wednesday (Or both days if you are super keen) to do either a morning day trip - 9/9:30am start or an afternoon trip 3/3:30pm start.
