This position involves working as part of a team in a community centre. Preparation of light lunches eg. soup, stews, BBQ, salad rolls and clean and tidy up after the meal. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, hot plates, oven, microwave and other appliances. The centre is open to the public and provides a safe and happy environment for those on a low income or those seeking the company of others. The position is supervised and training is provided. Also on site are a community garden, op shop and men's shed.
