Sydney Heritage Fleet is a celebrated working museum and volunteer organisation which restores, preserves and operates Australian maritime heritage.

John Oxley, a coastal steamer, has just been relaunched into the water and there is much to do to complete her restoration.

We are looking for two painters with previous DIY experience, to join the strong volunteer ship restoration team and help take the ship to the next stage. Painting will be needed for decks, cabins and various service areas.

The worksite, John Oxley, is at our site in Rozelle Bay with easy public transport connections and some available parking. We operate to standard industry standards and have all the normal amenities available. A White Card would be helpful but is not essential.
