Sydney Heritage Fleet is a celebrated working museum and volunteer organisation which restores, preserves and operates Australian maritime heritage.

John Oxley, a coastal steamer, has just been relaunched into the water and there is much to do to complete her restoration.

We are looking for four metal fabricators with limited or no previous experience, to join the strong volunteer workshop team and help take the ship to the next stage.

The worksite, the Fleet's workshop, is at Rozelle Bay with easy public transport connections and some available parking. We operate to standard industry standards. A White Card would be helpful but not essential.
