Manningham Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) is managed by a Committee of representatives from the various suburbs within the municipality. The Committee meets every two months and includes Police representatives.There are about 700 NHW volunteers working within Manningham, holding regular meetings, producing newsletters and involved in the many field activities.

NHW is in regular contact with 70% of the households in Manningham by the distribution of a two sided A4 size newsletter:

-Folding of an A4 size newsletter and its delivery to the letterboxes of the properties in a designated area. -The newsletters are delivered to the volunteer’s home about the middle of every second month starting from February. The volunteer is asked to deliver the newsletters to the properties in their designated zone in the following two weeks. -The volunteer/ their carer are required to alert their Area Manager if there is a need for additional newsletters (normally as a result of new homes being built and occupied).
