Volunteering with HammondCare At Home is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society. Not only does volunteering have an impact on the person you spend time with, but you'll learn a lot and meet new people.

We’re looking for a friendly volunteer who would love to brighten the day of an elderly lady in Albion Park area. She would benefit from someone who could come to her house and sing old songs with her. Ideally it would be great if you played an instrument, but you can also look up Youtube and play music that way.

Depending on Covid19 restrictions it may be a phone call or visit in their home.

If you have one hour each week (Monday to Friday) and you'd like to improve an older person's life by providing companionship, we would love to hear from you. You'll receive training, including first aid training, as well as the ongoing support from our Volunteer Coordinator.

Successful applicants will need to complete a criminal record check and meet our vaccination requirements for Covid19 and influenza.
