Volunteer Salvos on the Move, Wyndham City VIC Corps
The Salvation Army AustraliaThe Salvos on the Move Team Member works alongside other salvos on the move Team volunteers including a Team leader to engage homeless and disadvantaged people and those at risk of homelessness to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Teams are made up of a minimum of 5 members who assist to serve food and connect with the local Wyndham Community.

- Manages personal stress - Keeps control of own emotions and remains calm in the face of challenging situations. Displays an optimistic approach to volunteer role
- Adopts a service-orientated attitude to all - Develops a positive relationship with people based on empathy, respect, generosity and fairness. Demonstrates a commitment to social justice principles working with disadvantaged people in the community
- Cooperates for joint outcomes - Engages and contributes to team activities
- Improves WHS & Addresses risks to safe work practices - Escalates issues when these are identified
