We are seeking enthusiastic people who are confident, good communicators, friendly reliable and over 18 years

Dog must be healthy, have passed a Vet Clearance, must present as calm, obedient and well mannered and can demonstrate they have mastered a few basic commands. Your dog will be temperament tested as part of the selection process (cost of $30.00 donation) They would enjoy meeting new friends and are adaptable and comfortable in unfamiliar settings.

We provide training and instructions to help you to join as a Community Visiting Dog Handler Team.

Your dog will need to have up to date vaccination [C5] and will also need a Vet health check.

All volunteers must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccines as mandated by SA Health as we work with the most vulnerable people in our community, Influenza vaccination may also be required in some facilities Insurance is only provided whilst the team is at our partnered facilities
