Field Crew Volunteer

Bulimba Creek Catchment
Logo for Bulimba Creek Catchment

This is a chance to join in some extreme gardening - restoring our environment - waterways, natural areas and parklands.

A general day will entail a range of landcare activities including: whipper-snippering, weed control including chemical and hand weeding, mulching, landscaping, preparing sites for planting, planting, watering etc. You will need to be reasonably fit and used to working in the outdoors.

The field crew meets at 7am at the Sustainability Centre at Carindale and normally finishes by 2.30pm. This is Mon-Fri and you can choose the day/s that best suit you. However all the field crew need to start and finish at the above time due to teams travelling together in work vehicles etc.

Volunteers will work under a B4C supervisor who will provide guidance and instruction for both safety and skills development.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
