Key Activities and expectations of role

Start and end of shift

All volunteers must sign in before commencing tasks and sign out attendance on completion of set tasks All volunteers to log kilometres travelled for each trip in log book provided All volunteers must wear Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) (ie face masks, gloves) and non-slip, closed-toe shoes to commence their tasks. Volunteers must wear branded clothing Ensure Delivery Completion Record form is completed, and any receipts submitted to Team Leader Complete Personnel Reimbursement and Travel Reimbursement Forms and submit to Team Leader each week Provide quality customer service

Provide a courteous, friendly and caring environment and display professionalism and integrity at all times Provide a courteous, friendly phone manner Listen carefully, and acknowledge and refer concerns, issues or queries to Team Leader ASAP Maintain a safe and healthy environment

Ensure you have the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (ie face masks, gloves) and non-slip, closed-toe shoes to commence their tasks. Ensure your mobile phone is set to private when making calls to recipients Ensure your personnel safety at all times Immediately report any health and safety concerns, notifiable incidents and near misses, to Team Leader Ensure hazard, incident and accident form is completed by the end of shift if required Immediately report any health and safety concerns, notifiable incidents and near misses, to the Recovery Team Leader and ensure any hazards are controlled until rectified Adhere to TSA’s policies & procedures Other

No Team Members are permitted to accept donations from community members, donations must be referred to the Team Leader If contacted by the media, ensure all media enquiries are referred to Team Leader. No Team Members are permitted to engage with media without prior permission from Team Leader.

Mandatory requirements of the Role Current Police Check Signed acknowledgement of training/understanding of QLD Recovery Response Plan Current COVID vaccination status (min 2 doses) 2 referees Must be 18 years or over Current Drivers Licence Own fully insured transport Mobile Phone Current email address Good understanding of English language Ability to be available on an on-call basis A level of physical fitness to walk up ramps and stairs with groceries Training Requirements

Completion of COVID Response/Delivery Volunteer Team Member training, before commencing in the role as required Reading of QLD Recovery Response Plan/Instructions –Pandemic Current Safeguarding Training in line with TSA requirements Time Commitment Flexible, as needed however volunteers are encouraged to commit to being on call for at least one 2 to 4 hour shift per week Shifts available across a 7-day week, with weekends being a higher demand period
