Community Toolbox Canberra is Canberra's first 'library of things'. Toolbox Assistants help to operate the tool library under the supervision of a shift supervisor.

The role includes:

• operating the Toolbox borrowing software

• processing payments through our POS system

• assisting members select appropriate equipment

• processing loans of tools & equipment

• reviewing returned tools & equipment

• returning tools & equipment to their spot in the library

• processing new inventory into our library software

Volunteers will:

• hold a current Working with Vulnerable People Card (or have applied for one)

• be friendly and helpful

• confident in the use of a computer

• able to carry equipment weighing less than 15kg
