Do you love flowers? Our residents love the feel, smell and look of flowers. Would you consider coming to HammondCare Wahroonga to assist residents while they place flowers into vases for their rooms? If you have contacts with businesses that need to dispose of flowers, even better!

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, specialising in dementia. We're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of our residents. We'll provide training as well as ongoing support and invitations to social events.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.
