Fundraising Manager

The Adelaide Cricket Club is managed by a member elected Board and a Board appointed Management Committee, members of these two bodies are all volunteers and, all are employed in full time work outside the club. With this in mind, the Management Committee is seeking to appoint a Fundraising Manager to oversee fundraising activities

Responsibilities and Duties of the Fundraising Manager:-

  • Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to create a Fundraising Committee.

In collaboration with the Fundraising Committee:-

  • Determine what purpose the funds are being raised for

  • Develop a fundraising plan

  • Identify potential sources of funds e.g. online, events, away days

  • Ensure the acquired funds are being used for the designated purpose

  • Maintain relationships with the volunteer and sponsorship managers

  • Attend monthly management committee meetings

Knowledge and Skills Required:-

  • Can communicate effectively

  • Is well organised

  • Is enthusiastic

  • Has a high level of attention to detail

Experience in marketing would be advantageous but is not essential
