Fun Part-time volunteering opportunities

Do you enjoy spending time with the elderly and giving back to your local community? Do you enjoy being social? Do you like having a chat? Do you like cups of tea? How about lunch at the pub? If this sounds like you Meals on Wheels needs you!

Did you know Meals on Wheels now offer social support? We run various groups and individual social support catch ups for our customers and are looking for volunteers to get involved for a few hours a month, whenever it suits YOU!

Perhaps you’d like to contribute a couple of hours at a group lunch? Or maybe you’d like to be matched with a customer and meet them once a week for a visit and a cuppa?

We know that your time is precious so we will work with you to make sure you to get the most out of your experience with us.

After some chats and checks, we will invite you to an induction session. We also host regular catch ups for our volunteers giving you an opportunity to engage with like-minded people.
