Partners & Sponsorship Coordinator (Voluntary)

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge Required
- Demonstrated experience in researching, establishing, and growing mutually beneficial corporate partnerships and sponsorships for NFP organisations
- Able to understand the vision and values of Maggie’s Rescue and interpret them to fundraising and grants strategies.
- The ability to self-manage workflow but also able to collaborate with other team members and key stakeholders when required
- High level administrative skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to self-manage and work with competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Flexible and responsive to the changing needs of the organization
- Some background knowledge of the rescue sector desirable
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities, develop, and secure partnerships and sponsorships
- Assist in the development of a partners and sponsors policy, processes and required reporting
- Document and maintain clear processes and accurate data entry into our Salesforce CRM
- Develop all supporting documentation for partnerships and sponsorships from our database of documents
- Working with our core values and policies ensure our partnership and sponsorship objectives are achieved
- Ensure that we are compliant with all funding bodies, legislative and regulatory bodies.
Organisation Responsibilities
- Provide weekly updates to the Operations Manager and monthly reporting to Marketing Commitee
- Attend team meetings as required and promote clear communications to help foster strong working relationships within Maggies Rescue
- Participate in events and fundraising activities throughout the year
- Actively promote and work with other team members to provide a high level of customer service to all people in contact with Maggie’s Rescue
- Provide effective solutions to any ongoing issues
- You will be responsible for continuing to cultivate any current partner and sponsor relationships.

Maggie's Rescue is a registered animal welfare charity based in the Inner West of Sydney. It is a co-operative of compassionate and committed carers and volunteers that rescue and re-home companion animals, undertake education programs in the local community, advocate for legislative amendments that promote the welfare of animals and organise fundraising events to raise money for desexing and veterinary costs for the animals in our care. Working with the Operations Manager & the Marketing and Fundraising Committee, you will develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with partners and sponsors, and leverage these to help us to achieve our objectives as identified in our Strategic Plan.
