ABOUT THE ROLE: Driver for People Experiencing Homelessness Join us as a volunteer driver and make a direct impact on the lives of those in need. You'll commit to driving once a month on Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a maximum of 4 hours per session. Your primary responsibility will be picking up donated food from generous volunteers and delivering it to our kitchen. While reimbursement for petrol is provided, you must use your own vehicle.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Coordinate with volunteer cooks the day before your scheduled drive. Provide them with an estimated time of arrival when you're approximately an hour away. Ensure timely delivery of food to the kitchen by 3:15 pm. Adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols, including wearing a mask and gloves. Stay updated through our organising group on Facebook.

YOU WILL BRING:

Enthusiasm and energy to make a difference. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and efficiently. A commitment to our mission of solidarity and support.

Join our diverse and dedicated team of volunteers united in their passion for social justice. Together, we collaborate, innovate, and believe in the power of collective action to effect change.
