Presbyterian Aged Care provides an escorted shopping service to our clients living in the North Ryde, Ryde, Gladesville LGA. We are currently looking for caring and compassionate volunteers to match with a client to take to the supermarket and assist with their grocery shopping on a fortnightly basis.

Volunteer shopping escorts :-

• Collect the client from their home at the scheduled time
• Drive them to the shops of their choice - usually Top Ryde, Macquarie Centre, Marsfield Woolworths and Coxs Road IGA.
• Assist the client with their shopping - push the trolley, pick items from shelves, assist the checkout process and carry bags
• Take the client home and assist with the unpacking of the groceries if the client requires

You will be:-

• Reliable, patient and compassionate
• Available any day during Monday to Friday (weekends are not popular)
• Hold a full driver's licence - not red or green P's
• Have own vehicle with full comprehensive insurance

This is a wonderful way to give back, build an ongoing relationship with a client and help someone who needs that little bit of extra support to remain living independently in their own home.
