Training Requirements
Churches of Christ encourages all volunteers to complete training that is appropriate for their role. We do this to keep you and the people you will be supporting safe and healthy. Training occurs in a variety of ways and we will work with you to provide access and support.
When you accept a volunteer role, you will be asked to sign a Position Description that will clearly define the training requirements.
Have no fear, we make training as easy and accessible as possible!
Personal History Screening All volunteers supporting vulnerable people require a current criminal history check. In Residential Aged Care and Community Care there are strict legislative requirements governing this.
What if I don't have a Police Check?
Don't worry - we can apply for one and cover the cost for you. As soon as you have passed the check, you will be able to volunteer.
