Reception Support
Riverstone Neighbourhood Centre & Community Aid ServiceVolunteering for Riverstone Neighbourhood Centre, you can support the community, make new friends, learn new skills, gain valuable experience and keep active!
As Reception Support you will be
- Answering the telephone, responding to simple enquiries, and putting calls through to relevant teams
- Answering the door, and greeting visitors
- Assisting with keeping the reception and kitchen areas clean and tidy
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
- Follow Work Health & Safety, Privacy and Code of Conduct policies.
What we need from you?
- Friendly and helpful manner
- Genuine interest and commitment to three months or more of regular volunteering at our Centre
- Clear communication skills
- Good record keeping
What is essential?
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, honest diplomatic communication skills, positive attitude and ability to maintain professional boundaries
What is desirable?
- Experience in Microsoft Office Outlook.
- Experience with handling phone calls, email correspondence.
- Knowledge of working with multicultural communities
