Pedal Power is a community organisation with the main aim of encouraging and facilitating bike riding in Canberra and the ACT. The Big Canberra Bike Ride is a family-oriented annual event designed to promote and celebrate the benefits of bike riding. An enthusiasm for, or commitment to, bikes and or bike riding is an advantage, but not essential.

There are multiple roles. Some are administrative (such as rider registration) and require simply an eye for detail and a friendly attitude. Others (such as site and signage set-up) require some heavy lifting and/or a car or bike trailer. Most roles take place on the date of the event: Sunday 27 February 2022. There are other roles on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 February.
