We're looking for a volunteer who's an accountant or finance professional, or one that's experienced in accounting, financial and taxation matters.

The Treasurer is responsible for

1. General financial oversight including working with our bookkeeper and tax accountant. Ultimate responsibility for statutory lodgements including GST reporting, PAYG reporting, superannuation compliance and lodgement of annual reports with OFT
2. Monitoring and acting on funding opportunities such as government grants
3. Strategic financial planning and budgeting
4. Monthly Financial reporting to the Members Council
5. Oversight of legal compliance including all financial record keeping
6. Control of fixed assets and stock
