We're looking for someone who can jump into the role immediately and manage our extraordinary book club that helps bring people together to discover themes, cultures and stories inspired by people and places in the real world?

The ShelterBox Book Club Manager role helps people discover new titles but directly helps disaster-hit communities with every book we read.

We are looking for someone who has skills to facilitate a 6 weekly meeting, create engaging emails to send to our members, manage our Facebook page and share your passion of reading.

You must be reliable, have good communication skills (facilitate an engaging 6 weekly book club meeting, Facebook posts, content creation, and Zoom hosting) and a willingness to engage with new people.

The key aims of the Book Club Manager role is -

• help engage with our online community (posting on the FB page, responding to comments)
• encourage online discussion
• increase our membership
• develop monthly newsletter
• facilitate discussions at our meeting every 6-weeks.

Our 6-weekly meetings are a fun way to get together (online) and connect, chat about the book, it's themes and sometimes hear from the author or a member of the ShelterBox team who might have travelled to where the book is set.
