The role of the Volunteer Events & Marketing Support person is responsible for providing an experienced, fast and efficient approach, assisting the Team Leader with administrative and in person event support when available. Tasks also include content creation and promotion of events on social media and assistance with the bi-monthly newsletter. The volunteer must conduct themselves and respond in a professional, efficient and timely manner to ensure all operations continue to run smoothly. Excellent communication skills, time management, maturity and the ability to prioritise is essential. This position will predominantly be carried out remotely however local applicants preferred. Volunteers with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team are highly regarded.

• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (media content, newsletter, Facebook) • Assist with event planning and support at events where available • Support the team in administrative tasks • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including local government and media • A creative and innovative approach highly regarded • Role is predominately engaged remotely with regular contact with the Team Leader required • Excellent time management and prioritisation • Confidential, courteous and professional approach at all times • Other tasks as required and requested by management
