We are looking for kind, committed and positive people to join our team of 1:1 social support volunteers. This program is designed to support older people to reengage and reconnect with their community and to the things they love to do.

Andrew has been described as a positive, chatty and happy person. He is interested in music, art, news and going out using public transport or riding his bike. Andrew would like a volunteer who is patient and kind to visit him in his supported residential facility, or head out for dinner.

The ideal volunteer will be available on Wednesday, have a car for community outings have good communications skills and be able to work independently.

As a valued member of social support team you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, meet new people and develop new skills. You will have support from a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey. You will be volunteering to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice to make an impact in your community.
