Volunteer piano player, Residential Care, North Turramurra
HammondCare AustraliaShare your passion for music as you play the piano for elderly residents at HammondCare in North Turramurra, a residential aged care home. We encourage a range of musical styles, from classical and popular hits from the 1930's onwards. Your piano playing may be lovely background music or as support for a sing-a-long.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
