The St Vincent de Paul Society aspires to be recognised as a caring Catholic charity offering 'a hand up' to people in need. We do this by respecting their dignity, sharing our hope, and encouraging them to take control of their own destiny.
Vinnies has hundreds of Retail Centres Australia wide. Revenue raised from the Retail Centres allows for the continuation of vital services Vinnies runs across the country. Our Narrabundah Retail Centre is now looking for Retail Assistant/Donation Sorting/General Hand volunteers.
The St Vincent de Paul Society is an international, lay Catholic organisation dedicated to tackling poverty and disadvantage by providing assistance to anyone in need. We are committed to recruiting dedicated, professional volunteers who have the skills and experience appropriate for this role.
For this reason, should you be interested in this role, we will need to collect the following information prior to you commencing in the role:

We need to have reasonable confidence that members, volunteers and employees, particularly those who have access to vulnerable persons we are assisting, are of suitable character and do not expose these persons to unacceptable risk. Therefore, volunteers may be required to have a WWVP Card. If you don't have one, we will help you apply for it.
