Cancer Care Centre is a community based not for profit organisation providing complementary care services in the support of people affected by cancer. In a warm, friendly and non-clinical environment, the client receives the ongoing attention of our experienced client service volunteers.

Cancer Care offers the opportunity to use your professional skills and expertise to make a real difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.

We have two vacancies for a Counsellor or Social Worker to facilitate our Women’s Support Group on the 1st and 3rd Friday morning of the month. As well as our Young Women's Support Group on the 1st and 3rd Monday evenings of the month.

You will need:

• To be Degree qualified in Counselling or Social Work
• Have current accreditation/membership in ACA or PACFA or AASW.
• Current Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance certificate.
• Current Police Clearance Check
• Covid19 - Vaccinated

We will provide Professional Supervision sessions regularly throughout the year.
