Alex Makes Meals (AMM) is a not-for-profit organisation which started during COVID-19 to provide meals for frontline workers. As our case numbers eased towards the end of 2020, AMM pivoted to now make meals for the many people facing food insecurity in our community, many of whom are in this position for the first time as a result of COVID-19.

AMM is looking for a volunteer Head of Human Resources to partner with our CEO and the leadership team and to lead a small, experienced HR team. The role is responsible to ensure we are industry compliant and sustain our valued volunteers with best practice and innovation. Does this describe you? • 5+ years generalist HR experience, preferably with team management • Commercially astute, ideally experience in NFP and an understanding of a volunteer workforce • Anticipates issues and creates solutions • Exceptional communicator with a team mindset • Professional with high integrity.
