The volunteer needs to -

• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation
• Be sure to follow infection control and safe food handling regulations and procedures.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy
• Wash, stack and dry dishes and utensils, and ensure bench tops are clean and sanitized
• Assist with maintaining stock levels and ordering
• Have knowledge of older residents diet requirements
