Resident support volunteers will engage with residents who prefer non group engagement, have minimal visitor interactions or may benefit from individual support in a group dynamic. Engagement visits can involve general conversation, playing cards, scrabble, doing art / craft, playing music ( even an instrument). The engagement is aligned with the residents individual preferences and interests. Volunteers will be provided with identified residents to visit on an ongoing basis enabling the opportunity to develop friendships and rewarding connections with the residents they visit.

All volunteers will require to provide evidence of 2021 Flu Vaccination, as well as full COVID-19 vaccination including a booster shot. RAT testing is an entry requirement and is provided on site.

All volunteers will be required to have a National police clearance or be prepared to obtain. St Basils will support to obtain Police Clearance to successful applicants
