Gig Buddies Central Coast stands to tackle social isolation and to increase the social circles of all participants. We’re a fun and growing community – and we’re looking for a female buddy aged 25-40 years who lives in the northern Central Coast area and would suit someone with a young child(ren), happy to go to daytime events, sample live music, visit day markets or spend time catching up in a cafe.

Once paired up, ‘buddies’ attend gigs and events of their choosing.

Gig Buddies requests that volunteers dedicate around 5 – 10 hours a month minimum.

As for when paired buddies catch up, this is determinded on a case-by-case basis. Everyone’s personal circumstances are taken into consideration – the project aims to ensure both the adult with disability and volunteer mutually benefits.
