About us: YellowBridge QLD is one of Toowoomba's leading not for profit community organisations. We help people every day with services across disability support, home and community care, youth and community housing.

Our Vision is connecting lives and finding bright possibilities and Our Mission is working together to help lives shine.

Our volunteer opportunities: We are a diverse organisation with many different programs and initiatives that provide volunteer opportunities. These include:

• Collectables, our boutique op shop that provides work and training opportunities for people with a disability. • Men’s Shed, providing clients with a disability access to mentoring and creative endeavours such as woodwork • General gardening, at our main office or community housing properties • Yellow Bucket Appeal, our Christmas appeal that delivers 300 Christmas hampers to people in need • Friends for Seniors, visit or phone an elderly person in need of company or care for their pet (walk, bath, groom) • Event coordinator or assistant, for various community initiatives we participate in such as Biggest Morning Tea, RUOK Day, World Environment Day and Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers • Mentor Drivers, with our Youth Driving Program that helps disadvantaged young people achieve their 100 hours of supervised driving

As a Volunteer, you will be welcomed into our friendly and supportive YB Family. We have strong values about social justice, kindness, inclusion and integrity. We welcome volunteers who reflect our values and want to make a positive contribution in their community.
