ReStore is a social enterprise of Habitat for Humanity which accepts and sells new and second-hand items donated by businesses and the public to raise money to support our home building program. We sell through our two large second-hand shops in Kilsyth and Rosebud.

We are looking for Furniture Delivery Drivers for our Kilsyth store.

As a Furniture Delivery Driver you will be:

• Driving a delivery van for pick-ups and deliveries
• 'In charge’ while out on the road, you will be supervising the Delivery Assistants who are responsible for moving the furniture
• Responsible for the safe load, careful and lawful driving
• Helping with loading and unloading
• Responsible for the safety of all goods and fellow volunteers
• Helping in shop/warehouse at other times
• Collecting, refueling and returning the hire truck as necessary

You will have:

• A regular car automatic licence is a sufficient ‘minimum’ providing the driver is not on P plates.
• Experience in delivery driving is an advantage, but not essential.
• A good driving record with a current/clean licence
• To be reasonably fit
• To be able to communicate well with the public
• The ability to Work well in a team
