Action on Poverty is the trusted partner for changemakers creating a better world. We connect philanthropists, corporates, non-profits, and innovators with developing communities and local NGOs across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific to break the poverty cycle.

Since 1968, Action on Poverty has been supporting community-led development projects that tackle the root causes of poverty. We are a secular, independent NGO working through partnership on quality, evidence-based programs that create measurable change.

Today, we work in 14 countries on integrated development projects addressing four key areas: food, water, and climate resilience; livelihoods and economic empowerment; health; and governance and social accountability.

The role

We're looking for an experienced SEO/SEM specialist who can assist us with increasing our brand awareness and reaching new donors, partners, and supporters. We are currently undertaking a brand makeover and website redevelopment, and we need your help sharing our new identity with the world.

The SEO/SEM specialist will assist with:

• creating an SEO strategy
• keyword research and selection
• reviewing and optimising landing pages
• managing our Google Grants account
• managing paid search or display campaigns
• training staff and volunteers.

Skills and experience

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing effective SEO/SEM campaigns
• Passion for our work
• Able to commit to at least six months of volunteering
