Gig Buddies Central Coast stands to tackle social isolation and to increase the social circles of all participants. We’re a fun and growing community – and we’re looking for people from all walks of life and are all determinded on someone’s personal interests.

We are looking for a male, early 30s from the Hamlyn Terrace area. Someone who likes the outdoors (bush walking, rock climbing, going on adventures) and is into country music and is open to karaoke. Someone interested in going to the cinema or visiting the local RSL for a bite to eat ad a game of pool. A 'blokey bloke' who's down to earth and like a chat.

Once paired up, ‘buddies’ attend gigs and events of their choosing.

Gig Buddies requests that volunteers dedicate around 5 – 10 hours a month minimum. We’re looking for adults located throughout the Central Coast.

As for when paired buddies catch up, this is determinded on a case-by-case basis. Everyone’s personal circumstances are taken into consideration – the project aims to ensure both the adult with disability and volunteer mutually benefits.
