Event Coordinator - Unley Corps, SA

The primary role of the volunteer Event Coordinator is to coordinate the roll out of the annual fundraising programs in conjunction with the Unley Corps Salvation Army Corps Officer. These programs are the Red Shield Appeal (May-June) and the Christmas Appeal (November-December).
In addition the Event Coordinator will be coordinating the annual Christmas Lunch, which provides for those who will be alone, or feeling alone at Christmas and those experiencing social and financial disadvantage.
The role combines administrative, reception and simple welfare assistance roles coupled with providing support for those who may approach the Unley Centre for help.
This is a part-time, volunteer position and time commitments will be negotiated with Unley Salvation Army Corps Officer.
