Seeking kind and compassionate people, with resilience and a desire to provide comfort to older people at end of life. Amana Living is dedicated to holistic care for all our residents, including providing compassionate care to those who are approaching death. Some older people don’t have family or friends who can be with them in their final moments. The No One Dies Alone Companion (NODAC) Program aims to ensure that every Amana Living resident has someone supporting them as they are dying. We are actively seeking applications for new volunteers to provide comfort and support for residents at the end of their life. Each person who becomes a NODAC Volunteer is chosen for their kindness, patience and ability to show compassion to our residents in active palliative care.
