Essential Criteria:

  • Own transport or capacity to organise
  • Working with children check (Over 18’s)
  • Completed Volunteer form and undertaken volunteer induction
  • Check-in/sign in to centre upon arrival and departure EACH time the centre is attended.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Worked in previous admin type role
  • Welcoming, positive, happy personality to engage with people upon arrival at the centre.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Computer skills
  • Comfortable to answer phone and record general enquiry messages
  • Confidence to greet people upon arrival
  • Ability to point people in the right direction or engage in general discussions about the programs
  • Ability to work, at times unsupervised.

Duties & Task Examples:

  • Greeting volunteers & assist with check-in/sign in upon arrival and departure
  • Answering of phone and recording of messages.
  • Laminating resources when necessary
  • Cleaning of helmets & boots after use
  • Disinfecting Mechanical horse & room in-between sessions
  • General cleaning of building/toilets/riders’ room if & when required.

We have a COVIDSafe plan and training in place. This includes the use QR codes, social distancing and attendance protocols
