Here at St John Ambulance Queensland, we’re looking for volunteers to join our government funded ACVVS (Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme). Our amazing volunteers are the heart of this program, we’ll support you every step of the way and match on general interest to ensure long lasting friendships. 

  We’re looking for kindhearted individuals like yourself to visit aged care facilities for one hour, once a fortnight in the …. area. These visits could include; having a cup of tea, getting involved in a simple activity together, reading, singing along to music or having a yarn.

• Must be over the aged of 18.
• Willingness to undergo a free national police check.
• Committed for the long run.
• Be patient, compassionate and a good listener
