Annecto Speakers Bank are looking for a Podcast Editor and Scheduler to work with our social media content creator in sharing podcast episodes and content. This is a great volunteer role for someone who is familiar with podcast editing and content creation. We’re looking for a volunteer who can feel empowered to create change and make a difference, and promote the rights of older people, and people with a disability.

Your tasks will include:

• Working with the Social Media content creator to share podcast episodes/content
• Assisting the Program Coordinator in selecting a suitable free/low-cost podcast platform where ASB content will be hosted
• Assisting the coordinator in uploading podcast episode on a regular basis (E.g. weekly or monthly uploads depending on arrangement)
• Performing minor edits on the recordings (E.g. put intro/outro and clip minor mistakes in recording)
• Monitoring engagement and other metrics

We’re looking for a volunteer with the following skills:

• Familiar with podcast editing/content creation
• Have an interest in promoting the rights of PWD and older people
• Knowledge of simple audio editing software such as audible or willingness to be trained on the use of such software.
• Knowledge of how to strip audio from videos, or willingness to be trained on such procedures.
