Online Volunteer Tutor (eTutors Project)

About us
eTutors Project is a non-profit tutoring network that aids students in this time by providing access to tutors who will assist students with school work in free one-on-one online help sessions. The aim is to provide financially disadvantaged students from K-9 with free online tutoring sessions.
Location: Australia wide
Days: Monday to Sunday
Hours: 1 hour per week
About the role
Volunteer tutors (ages 16 and above) will be paired with K-9 students in need and are expected to have a virtual meeting where you will help them with their school work. Tutors can sign up from any state/territory in Australia through our website.
Tutoring sessions will be one hour in length and conducted weekly, however this can be modified to suit individual needs. Lessons are conducted on Google Meet, with lesson materials uploaded through Google Classroom. Once signed up, students and parents will be able to access our database of tutors and contact the tutor that they feel best suited to their needs.
Requirements
- All tutors undergo interviews prior to becoming a tutor, and tutors over the age of 18 are required to have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Ability to commit to volunteering for a minimum of 6 months in the program
