Starrett Lodge is looking for a volunteer to lead in meaningful and engaging activities in our dementia cottage, which has 20 residents. The right person will be patient, positive, and engaging. This could include but not limited to, sing alongs, story telling, one on one conversations, hand massages, sensory games, exercises, courtyard walks, etc. Other duties could include assisting staff with household chores like dishes and serving lunch. We want to provide meaningful activities for our residents, a volunteer could make a difference in their lives.
