12 Buckets helps local children to flourish regardless of background or circumstance.

Our tailored one-to-one mentoring program is built to support primary aged students. We focus our mentoring around a guided 12 Buckets model for the student that has four core qualities: Independence, belonging, mastery and generosity.

At 12 Buckets, we work with our mentors to build resilience in students. It’s all about understanding and identifying the strengths you see in your student and then empowering them to build upon those strengths. We do this by getting to know our students through games, building, making music, playing sports, the list goes on!

We are currently based in four primary schools in the Northern Suburbs. We need our volunteer mentors to commit to being able to give 1 hour once a week every week (either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) during the school year. We also need our volunteer mentors to commit for a minimum of 12 months.
