The City of Rockingham has delivered the Junior Council program every year for approximately 35 years. The program provides a solid foundation to build leadership skills in young people aged 11 and 12.

The Junior Council Administration Support role will provide assistance to Community Development Officer (Early Years and Children) with preparation and running of the Junior Council Program. This will include the welcoming of students and signing in, assistance with set up and pack down of the venue, running of activities and games.

The Junior Council meetings will take place on Thursday 6 July 2023, with subsequent meetings occurring on the first Thursday of each month. Current volunteer assistance is required for August, September October, November and December 2023.
