We're looking for enthusiastic and willing volunteers (above the age of 16) to join us as part of the MCG Stadium Stomp Volunteer Squad for our event on Sunday 13 February at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Who are ESF? The Emergency Service Foundation (ESF) is a not-for-profit who supports the Victorian emergency management sector to prevent, promote and address the incidence and impact of mental injury for the 125,000 volunteers and paid staff who serve our community.

What is Stadium Stomp? Stadium Stomp is a fun and unique event, setting participants on a stair climbing mission up, down and around the bays of the MCG. Covering 7300 stairs, or a short course of 1900 stairs, this is the ultimate stair climbing challenge.

All participants are encouraged to make every step count and raise funds for ESF as the official MCG charity partner.

Why volunteer? Being a Volunteer at Stadium Stomp for ESF is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the many different aspects of sports and event management all whilst working at one of Australia's most iconic sporting venues, along with supporting our emergency services personnel. Our volunteers’ health and safety is our number one priority. Stadium Stomp is committed to running a COVIDSafe event for all participants, volunteers, and staff.

What roles are available? With various jobs available from start line marshals, course marshalling, registrations, set up/ pack down, runners, water stations, finish line marshals etc., there’s sure to be a job for you!

For the more experienced volunteers or leaders we have various Area Leader roles that will see you manage a small team of volunteers in any of the areas listed above.

You will be able to indicate the area that you are most interested in on the application form.
