Volunteer Marketing & Administration Assistant - New Farm

This veteran focused organisation requires a Volunteer Marketing & Administration Assistant who is committed, punctual and has a welcoming personality. The role focuses on marketing the event through engagement with support agencies and maintenance of the social media/website assets as well as maintaining a spreadsheet to account for monies in and out. Additionally you will be handling telephone calls, inputting Committee Ex-Service Association details on a computer and collating information into a database. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. General office and reception duties may also apply. Occasional out of hours, weekend and public holiday duties to support veteran activities and other events as required. Routine: 9.00am – 2.00pm Tuesday through Friday negotiable. This position could transition to a part-time paid position subject to a successful review of grant funding for the event in June 2025. Must work Friday.
