Greek speaking female volunteer required for visits to lady in Clayton (VIC)
MiCare LtdBring a smile and cheer up this elderly Greek lady living in Clayton South. Time may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference to her life - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.
We ask volunteers to commit to weekly or fortnightly visits for at least 12 months, however this is an ongoing role & we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.
Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.
This program is part of the Community Visitors Scheme and the Commonwealth Home Support Program– an Australian Government Initiative
