At Empower Autism our vision is for autistic people to live with confidence and self-belief. Our mission is to empower them to reach their potential through providing programs and services based on inclusiveness, self-development, and self-advocacy. We are proud to run a number of support groups throughout South-East Queensland to support and empower autistic people and their carers and loved ones.

Empower Autism started as a small support group for parents of children with Asperger’s and we’ve been helping individuals and families since 1994. We believe in peer led support and the majority of our staff are volunteers with direct lived experience with autism. We love our volunteers; they play a vital role in delivering on our mission. We are always looking for talented people that are driven to make a positive impact on the lives of others. If this is you, please contact us regarding this role or to find out about other volunteer opportunities available.
