Social Stretch is a chair based exercise class, to promote health and well-being with a social focus. The class is instructed by an Exercise Physiologist. Volunteers are encouraged to be part of the group, perform exercises, assist participants and contribute to group discussions.

The Social Stretch Program is held weekly on Mondays between 1.30pm and 3pm at the Old School Building in Victor Harbor.

Time commitment: 2 hours weekly (Monday Afternoons)

Key tasks (may include):  Phoning attendees of group program to arrange time for pick up.  Transport attendees of group, build rapport and support any specific needs of the attendees at the group.  Assisting clients at the group to perform exercises or use equipment.  Collecting program money & keeping a record of attendees  Informing CNP staff of any cancellations, issues or incidents at the program  Organise tea/coffee for the session
